"As an artist and medium that channels information into sound and rhythmic poetry it was an incredible blessing to receive a stream through the brilliant artistry and humble majesty of Eric Nez. As an art in residence at our synergenius stew-dios here in Portland OR this past fall 2014, living mostly on the energy of prayer, tea, sprouts, blueberries, and avocados Eric tirelessly filled our ACTLab with beauty and truth, feeding the dream the feeds us all. It was a unique and enriching way for me to be informed as a song creator, as its been more common for the songs I have written to be message oriented, usually in response to my observations of the world. These songs that I share with you now, came from a visual transmission that unfolded like a flower petal by petal with prayer and poetry. I look forward to more of these synergenius collaborations with Nez as well as other artists who feel the call to merge in this way. "

Live in Light, Water

"It was such a special blessing creating alongside Water. Having the poet musician steam alongside me filling the air with sweet sounds and potent words. I felt like the paintings had a real voice, that we could all hear. Each of the paintings are a direct reflection of the space we shared. I was able to receive true information about the piece. As she would sing or play an instrument I would see the next color or a shape take form. Much of the time the only communication was our individual crafts mingling in the mystic ethers of the ACTLab. I am so grateful for this journey and I have learned so much in this collaboration. I can envision much more of this kind of artistic merging on the horizon."
